Your workout playlist is more important than you would think! When creating your playlist, you should be mindful of what type of workout you will be doing and what your typical music preferences are. If you are going on a long run, you may want to choose songs with an upbeat tempo and motivational lyrics. When you are lifting, you may want to choose songs that are more aggressive in order to get you in the zone!

Steady Run Playlist
During a steady tempo long run, you want music that is around 100-140bpm! This playlist has mainly pop music with an upbeat tempo!
Since High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is known for bursts of high intensity efforts followed by short recoveries, you will want songs that have great contrast in tempo. This playlist is a mixture of primarily pop & hip-hop.

You won’t be getting a new one rep max PR with any fluffy pop music! This rock & rap inspired playlist is just want you need the next time you step into the fitness center!
80’s/90’s Workout Playlist
Maybe you’re not into today’s music… No worries! This playlist is 80’s & 90’s inspired ranging from pop, hip-hop & rock!
This playlist will help to keep your heart rate lower with some calming music. This is recommended for your cool-down, stretching and easy toning/conditioning.
